Call for Applications: “Mock Trials” for the Gjakova Region

Are you a high school student in the region of Gjakova?

Do you want to know more about the role of judges, prosecutors and lawyers?

Do you want to know how a court hearing is conducted and test yourself in the above mentioned roles?

If so, through the “Mock Trials” activity, you will be able to be part of an interactive and creative 3-day simulation about the justice system and the role of the judge, the prosecutor or the lawyer.

Mock trials are activities in which 30 high school students will be able to receive information about justice system actors for three days in a row and prepare to have a trial session in a courtroom on the last day of training.

Mock Trials will be held on 12, 13,14 of August 2020 in Gjakova. Transportation and food costs will be covered by the organizer. 

At the end of the training you will be certified.

The “Mock Trials” activity is organized within the “Youth for Justice” project which is supported by the US State Department / INL and implemented by YIHR KS.
