Youth Initiative for Human Rights – Kosovo (YIHR KS) invites law students from public and private universities to apply to the Court Monitoring Program in the basic court in the region of Prishtina, Ferizaj, Peja, Gjakova, Mitrovica, Gjilan and Prizren and their branches.

50 students studying law will have the opportunity to monitor from 10 court hearings. After each hearing, each monitor must submit a monitoring report, and at the end of the program is required to prepare a blog that describes the monitoring experience and that will be published on the platform “My Rights”.

Preliminarily the selected participants will have the opportunity to attend a training in order to analyze the Law on Access to Public Documents to learn more about submitting requests for access to public documents. 

Participants will receive $ 10 for each session they monitor.

The call is open until August 15, 2022, 17:00  and only persons selected for monitoring will be contacted.
