YIHR KS strongly condemns the attack on 2 injured people in Shterpce
YIHR KS strongly condemns the attack on 2 injured people in Shtërpce, the 11 and 21 years old. We call on all relevant institutions of Kosovo to investigate the case in its entirety and take all necessary measures to bring justice to the victims and their families as soon as possible.
We are following with concern the situation created in Shtërpce, and the tense situation throughout the country. YIHR KS calls on the government of Kosovo and that of Serbia, the media, as well as all citizens to refrain from statements and actions that promote inter-ethnic hatred and that can bring escalation of the situation. Hate speech and actions stagnate the process of reconciliation and prevent the normalization of inter-ethnic relations.
YIHR KS calls on all institutions and citizens to act in the spirit of inter-ethnic peace and solidarity to prevent such violent acts in the future.
