Youth Initiative for Human Rights Kosovo offers 4 months internship for Serbian students and recent graduates

Duties and Responsibilities:

Interns will have opportunity to be involved in YIHR cross community project, which is a Visiting program between Kosovo Albanians and Kosovo Serbs. The project includes cross community visits from different cities of Kosovo. Interns will assist in implementation of this project by assisting on organizing the thematic visits, guest speaker lectures and non formal dialogues.

Interns will gain a diverse experience during their work at YIHR, engaging in a variety of activities, while also contributing to general office tasks. Through their work, interns will have opportunities to gain knowledge of human rights and advocacy issues, acquire and further put into practice the knowledge they have acquired during their studies or professional careers, and also will find opportunities to attend different events as well as to make contacts during the course of everyday work.

General Requirements:

• Candidates must have High School Diploma
• Knowledge of English language is required
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Excellent computer skills
• Preference will be given to candidates with proven experience in civil society work
