Duties and Responsibilities:
Interns will have opportunity to be involved in YIHR Kosovo cross community project, which is a Visiting program between Kosovo Albanians and Kosovo Serbs. Interns will assist in implementation of this project. The project includes the visits from different cities of Kosovo to Gracanica and North Mitrovica and from Gracanica and North Mitrovica to Prishtina and other cities. Also, the interns will assist on organizing the workshops, study visits, guest speaker lectures and non formal dialogues.
Interns will learn about general idea of the Human Rights, advocacy; research, monitoring and networking. Interns will also gain knowledge and experience in practical skills such as in administration skills (compiling information and documentation, replying to queries, preparing reports, participating in team meetings, etc.), organizational skills (assisting in organizing public events and debates, street events, conferences etc.).
General Requirements:
• Young people from all around Kosovo may apply
• Candidates must have completed Highs School Diploma
• Working knowledge of at least Albanian, Serbian and English is required
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Excellent computer skills
• Preference will be given to candidates with proven experience in civil society work.
