The Youth Initiative for Human Rights – Kosovo (YIHR KS) organized on Friday 21/03/2014 a study visit at RTK2, Kosovo Assembly and European Centre for Minority Issues (ECMI). The visit was one of a series of activities organized by the YIHR KS as part of the “Visiting within Kosovo”, a project supported by the Embassy of Switzerland.

The aim of the visit was that Albanian and Serbian young participants, to get to know about the work of these institutions/ organizations and how they represent their interests, therefore a discussion topic was the possibility of cooperation and representation regardless of the ethnicity. Hence, Mr Zarko Joksimovic, Director of RTK2 during the conversation with the Albanian and Serb participants often mentioned the example of this institution where people of all ethnicities are included and despite the fact that they are from different ethnic background they work very well together.

YIHR KS gives a special thanks to the director of RTK2 Mr Zarko Joksimovic, national MP Ms Biserka Kostic and Mr Arben Osmani (ECMI representative), who hosted and shared their time with the participants.
