Youth Initiative for Human Rights – Kosovo (YIHR KS) with the support of the Office of United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) held a workshop on the 31st of July 2013 regarding “Discrimination Cases and the Anti-Discrimination Law.”

The workshop was organised for legal practitioners and human rights activist from civil society organisations and institutions, who may deal with discrimination issues. It was attended by lawyers and human rights activists from the Civil Rights Programme Kosovo (CRPK), International Relief and Development (IRD), Kosovo Rehabilitation Centre for Torture Victims (KRCT), Council for the Defence of Human Rights and Freedoms (CDHRF), Roma, Ashkali Documentation Centre (RADC), Kosovo Women’s Network (KWN) and the Centre for Equal Treatment (CEL).

The training considered the key issues of the Anti-Discrimination Law, dealing with discrimination cases and through case studies identifying discriminatory practices.
