Youth Initiative for Human Rights – Kosovo with the support of Civil Rights Defenders, as part of its Human Rights Program, from the 7th – 9th of December 2012 held its second Anti-Discrimination Law Training at Hotel Amazona, Millosheve. A total of 21 participants took part predominantly from a law background and with a keen interest in human rights and discrimination law.

During the first day participants got acquainted with the national legal measures dealing with the prohibition of discrimination. Whilst on the second day, the international framework was discussed and landmark discrimination cases of the European Court of Human Rights. On the final day of the training participants competed in an Anti-Discrimination Law Moot Court, where they prepared submission for a discrimination case and presented them before judges.

The training was delivered by local professors and the Macedonian Young Lawyers Association.
