HRW 11 – We celebrated 20 years of YIHR KS, two decades of activism for freedom, equality, and justice

The evening featured powerful reflections from key figures who have shaped our story. Marigona Shabiu, Executive Director of YIHR KS, highlighted the organization’s milestones and enduring commitment to youth-led activism. Andrej Nosov, founder of YIHR, shared the movement’s origins and its transformative impact across the region. Former President Atifete Jahjaga underscored the importance of continued advocacy for human rights in Kosovo and beyond. While, Shpend Qamili, another founding pillar of YIHR KS, offered a heartfelt recount of the early days.

A heartfelt congratulations to this year’s Human Rights Activist of the Year, QIPS, whose tireless work embodies the spirit of our shared mission.

The night was made even more special with powerful performances by Offchestra and Gent, bringing energy and unity to the celebration.
