Job Overview:
YIHR KS is seeking a passionate and dedicated Projects Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The Projects Coordinator will play a pivotal role in planning, implementing, and overseeing various projects focused on human rights, youth activism, and peacebuilding. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong organizational skills, an eye for detail, and a commitment to the values YIHR KS upholds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute projects from inception to completion, ensuring they align with YIHR KS’s strategic goals.
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial resources are used effectively and transparently.
- Track the progress of projects, conduct regular evaluations, and prepare comprehensive reports on project outcomes.
- Work closely with other team members, partners, and stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of projects.
- Liaise with donors, partners, and other stakeholders to foster relationships and secure support for YIHR KS initiatives.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, project documentation, and communication materials to various audiences.
- Prepare work plans, and conduct different research as assigned.
- Manage and respond to claims submitted to “My Rights” platform.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Social Sciences, International Relations, Human Rights, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in project coordination, preferably in the NGO sector.
- Strong understanding of human rights, Kosovo’s legal framework, youth activism, and peacebuilding in the context of Kosovo.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills Albanian and/or Serbian and English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
