Human Rights and Rule of Law Program

The Human Rights and Rule of Law Program at YIHR Kosovo is dedicated to promoting and protecting human rights in Kosovo and the surrounding region. This program works to combat human rights violations through advocacy, monitoring, and reporting. We place a strong emphasis on equal inclusion of all marginalized groups.

Our strategic approach includes:

• Monitoring and Reporting: We actively monitor the implementation of laws and evaluate legislation from a human rights perspective, ensuring transparency and accountability in the judicial system.
• Advocacy Campaigns: Through creative awareness-raising campaigns, we engage the public and institutions in promoting human rights and addressing violations.
• Human Rights Education: Expanding our education initiatives to include not just youth but also educators, we aim to integrate human rights education at all levels of schooling.
• Empowering Activists: By integrating our activist network into our activities, we empower activists to take ownership of their initiatives, providing resources and support for their advocacy efforts.
