Hektor Kastrioti joined YIHR Kosovo in 2026 as the Program and Communications Assistant. Hektor
graduated in Law from the University of Prishtina, where he focused particularly on human rights,
international law, and the rule of law. During his studies, he completed an academic semester at the
University of Maribor in Slovenia through the Erasmus+ programme, further expanding his international
and academic experience. Hektor was also a member of the University of Prishtina team that competed
in the prestigious Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, where he participated in the field
of public international law.

Hektor gained practical experience at the Basic Court of Prishtina and at a notary office, where he
worked on a variety of legal and administrative matters. From an early age, he has been passionate
about activism, human rights, and civic engagement. Through his work in youth initiatives and non-
formal education, Hektor is committed to empowering young people through dialogue, knowledge, and
active participation in society.
