On the last day of Human Rights Week, we gathered for a heartfelt workshop on the importance of self-care in the activism journey at the Activism Hub in our office spaces. With an open and intimate atmosphere, we explored the heavy toll that the fight for justice can take on our spirits and how crucial it is to refill our own cups before we can pour into the collective struggle.
We shared our experiences, supported each other, and learned valuable strategies for combating activist burnout, because we know that the fight for freedom and equality requires resilience, and that starts with taking care of ourselves.
