Call for Nominations: Human Rights Activist of the Year Prize 2025
It’s time to recognize the extraordinary activists who are transforming our communities and the world!
We are thrilled to announce the call for nominations for the Human Rights Activist of the Year Prize 2025, celebrating an individual/group of individuals/NGO/informal civic initiative who have shown exceptional commitment, passion, and innovation in their fight for social justice and human rights in Kosovo during 2025.
If you know an inspiring activist—someone who goes above and beyond to create positive change—nominate them! This award is open to grassroots organizers, community leaders, and anyone whose work reflects the spirit of activism for human rights and social justice.
Why Nominate?
- Recognition: Winner/s will be honored at our annual awards ceremony, gaining visibility for their important work.
- Advocacy: Winner/s will gain a platform to amplify their message and bring attention to critical issues, fostering support and creating opportunities for meaningful change. Through their recognition, they can mobilize others, influence policy, and strengthen their advocacy efforts.
How to Nominate:
Tell Their Story: Share why this individual/group of individuals/NGO/informal civic initiative deserves the Human Rights Activist of the Year Prize. Highlight their achievements, impact, and dedication.
Include Details: Provide contact information, a brief biography, and any relevant documentation of their work.
Submit Your Nomination: Send your nomination by November 15, 2025 by fulfilling the Google Form.
You have the right to nominate:
- Individuals;
- Group of individuals;
- Informal civic initiatives;
- Civil Society Organizations.
Who cannot be nominated:
- Charitable initiatives and contributions are not part of the call
- Self-nomination is not allowed
- State officials

All nominations will be reviewed by an independent external panel. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
