Blende Pira currently works as a Legal Researcher and Program Coordinator of Human Rights and Rule of Law Program at YIHR KS. Earliest professional engagements of Blenda have been in the Court of Appeals of Kosovo, Kohavision television and USAID Justice Matters Activity as an intern. She has then been involved in many activities within national and international organizations. She has been part of “UNHCR and International Refugees Law” course organized by UNHCR in cooperation with the University of Prishtina and CRP/K and also part of “Criminal Law Clinic” organized by Demand for Justice with the support of National Centre for State Court. In 2018 she was engaged as a coordinator of the “Live Legal Clinic Prishtina” as part of USAID Justice Matters Activity. Later she participated in the “Support to Transitional Justice” course at Transitional Justice Resource Center, University of Prishtina. Blenda finished her law degree at University of Prishtina, Faculty of Law. She then completed a Master degree in European and International Business Law from the Károli Gáspár University in Hungary. During her studies in Budapest, Hungary, Blenda represented the Károli Gáspár Reformed University in Willem C. Vis Moot, which is one of the most prestigious competition in the field of International Commercial Arbitration.
