Besart Lumi

Besart Lumi works as Western Balkans Programme Advisor for PeaceNexus’ Foundation, supporting partners on Organisational Development and Conflict Sensitivity. Besart is a researcher, human rights and transitional justice activist. He has extensive experience working in both civil society organizations and public institutions. He has managed peacebuilding and human rights programmes in Kosovo and the region, including The Youth Initiative for Human Rights. Besart has published on democratizing transitional justice in Kosovo in collaboration with PAX. He holds an MA in Conflict Resolution from the Josef Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver.
