Information about the Training
The Anti-discrimination Law Training is part of YIHR Kosovo’s Human Rights Program, which intends to deepen the knowledge of lawyers in this field of applicable international conventions and national legislation. It will also provide participants with a range of practical skills such as developing legal arguments, making verbal and written submissions and defending a discrimination case. The training will be held over four days during September and October 2011.
Applicants are required to have completed their Bachelor Degree in Law, have an interest in Human Rights Law and in particular Anti-Discrimination Law. Additionally, in order to be successful applicants are required to demonstrate that they intend to practice in these areas of the law.
Knowledge of the English Language (spoken, written and of legal terminology) would be an asset.

Interested applicants are required to submit their CV and a short paragraph (350 – 500 words maximum) detailing their motivation to attend the training, their interest in this field, previous work experience and future career plans firstname.lastname@example.org, with “Anti-Discrimination Law Training” as a subject heading.
