….to encourage mechanisms for dealing with the past in order for society to begin to look to the future,
….so the families of the missing persons in Kosovo learn about the fate of their loved ones,
…then, Youth Initiative for Human Rights – Kosovo (YIHR KS) invites you to participate in the “Human Rights Activism – Nisma Ime (My Initiative)” workshops. Because, youth activism is fundamental in the fight to protect the victims of human rights violations!
These workshops, which last for a day, aim to offer young people the opportunity to gain new knowledge and understanding of the concept of human rights, different methods of activism and ways of organizing advocacy and awareness raising campaigns.
Selected participants following these workshops, together with other activists of My Initiative will have the opportunity to design, develop and organize various activities for the My Initiative network of activists.
If you are 16-20 years old, enthusiastic and interested to take part in this workshop (or you know someone who is), the application process is very simple and involves 3 steps:

My Initiative is open to anyone who shares the same values and principles and is willing to help in spreading of this common vision.
“Human Rights Activism – My Initiative” workshop is a continuation of activism workshops which have been organized by YIHR KS since 2007. More than 500 young people from across Kosovo have participated in My Initiative’s workshops to date.
