Anida Gjurgjiali completed her Bachelor's studies for English Language and Literature, and
Postgraduate studies for Democracy and Human Rights at the University of Sarajevo and
University of Bologna (double-degree). She has conducted research internships in Turkey,
Greece and Slovenia regarding the sociopolitical impact on human rights. Anida has served as
volunteer and was part of national and international projects for human rights, peace and security
in the region and dealing with the past and is focused on the narrative discourses in plural
societies in the post-conflict countries of the Western Balkans.
